Our Successes

Day after day, month after month and year after year, we witness the difference that Dream Camp makes. Our students show improved math and reading skills and overall improved academic performance. They have fewer behavioral infractions as a result of their participation in Dream Camp. They make better choices by tapping into the critical thinking and decision making skills they learn at Dream Camp. At Dream Camp, we prepare our students to think about their futures, to demonstrate leadership skills and to develop plans to achieve their goals.

Academy Experience:

• Total Number of Children Enrolled: 82 students in the After-School Academy
• 100% of our high school graduates will enter into higher education in the fall.
• 10 graduated will enter college, 2 community college and 1 the Air Force.

Summer Experience:

• Total number of Children Enrolled: 241
• Return rate from last year’s student (camper) enrollment: 88%
• Daily camper attendance rate was 91%
• One of our Dream Camp HS graduates is Villanova Presidentail Scholar and also a Gates Millennium Scholar!

Summer Mentors:

• 17 Former Dream Camp Students on Staff (+ 6 students in the Young Leadership Program – YLP)

• Total Number of Children Enrolled: 105 students
• 100% of Dream Camp’s High School Graduates Attending College
• 2 Former Dream Camp students graduated from Brown University

Summer Experience:

• Total Number of Children Enrolled: 232 students
• Return rate from last year’s student (camper) enrollment: 90%

Summer Mentors:

• 28% of Summer Team Members Were Former Dream Campers
• 10 Former Dream Camp Students on Staff (+ 3 students in the Young Leadership Program (YLP)
• Total Number of Summer Staff Mentors and: 79 (41 are college graduates, 33 are certified teachers)
• There are now 319 years of ESF experience on staff at Dream Camp Trinity
